Emperor Penguin on Ice

Emperor penguins are the largest of the penguin species, averaging around 120cm tall and surviving in the harsh winters of the Antarctic. The male penguin hatches the egg by balancing it on his feet to keep it off the ice, and covering it with his body to keep it warm while the female hunts for food. Our penguin is hand-carved and beautifully hand-painted, perched on a lump of ice.
